Rosa

Rosa, 59 years old, is a very happy and charismatic woman. She lives in a house she inherited from her parents, with her two sons: Ronal, 25 years old, and Pedro, 22. She wants to give them both a good life. Rosa’s day starts very early in the morning, when she opens her kiosk and starts selling poultry. Her business is located at the Cerro Colorado market (a very important market in the city of Juliaca). She is a very persuasive saleswoman, and always manages to put a smile on her customers’ faces. What she enjoys most about her business is chatting with the other saleswomen around her, and her jokes make their long journeys happier ones. She has been in business for 20 years, and finds the hardest part is staying at her site in the market all day. She hopes, in the near future, to have a butcher shop where she could sell her product more comfortably. This is Rosa’s first loan with MFP, and she is happy to have an opportunity to obtain credit. She is a beloved member of her cooperative bank, given she always helps out when needed. She plans to invest half of the three thousand soles she’s requesting into the purchase of more poultry, so she can meet her customers’ demand. She would invest the second half of the funds into her other business, which is making caps/hats.

Rosa tiene 59 años, es una mujer muy alegre y carismática, vive en la casa que heredó de sus padres, junto a sus dos hijos Ronal de 25 y Pedro de 22 años, a quienes desea dar una buena vida. El día de Rosa comienza muy temprano por la mañana, cuando abre su quiosco y empieza con su venta de carne de pollo, su negocio está ubicado en el mercado Cerro Colorado (mercado importante de la ciudad de Juliaca), ella es una vendedora muy persuasiva y siempre logra sacar una sonrisa de sus clientes. Lo que más le gusta de su negocio es conversar con sus vecinas de venta, quienes con sus bromas hacen más alegres las largas jornadas. Lleva 20 años en esta actividad y considera que lo más difícil es tener que permanecer todo el día en su puesto. Para un futuro cercano espera tener un emporio (carnicería) donde pueda vender con mayor tranquilidad la carne de pollo congelada. Este es el primer préstamo de Rosa con MFP y se siente feliz de la oportunidad de crédito, en su banco comunal es una socia muy querida ya que siempre ayuda en todo lo necesario. Invertirá la mitad de los tres mil nuevos soles que solicita en la compra de más carne de pollo para cubrir mejor la demanda de sus clientes, y la otra mitad la invertirá en su otro negocio que es la confección de gorras.
