Lidia

Lidia is 55 years old and, even though she has worked hard for much of the time, she still feels she has many goals she wants to accomplish. She lives alone in her own home, given her husband passed away and her children are grown with their own families. She has been living alone for more than 10 years, trying to excel through her own efforts. She manages a repair shop, where cars come out like new. She has 3 workers that work with her on a daily basis, and Lidia fondly calls them her “guardians”. Even though she is a woman, the appreciation she has for auto mechanics is admirable given she knows all the parts of a car. She enjoys observing how a car enters her garage destroyed, and leaves as if nothing had happened to it. She has been in this business for 20 years, and finds the hardest aspect is obtaining the repair parts that cars need. Lidia hopes that her repair shop grows over time, and turns into the most frequented one in the area. She knows she has a long road ahead of her, but says she still has the strength to meet the challenges. This is her third loan with MFP, and she hopes not to fail with her loan installment payments. She is a very committed and responsible member of her cooperative bank. She will use the three thousand soles she is requesting to buy repair parts for cars she is currently working on.

Lidia tiene 55 años y aunque ha trabajado duro por mucho tiempo, todavía siente que tiene muchas metas por cumplir. Vive sola en su propia casa, ya que su esposo falleció y sus hijos tienen sus propias familias. Hace más de 10 años que vive sola y trata de sobresalir con su propio esfuerzo, ella es la administradora de un taller mecánico, de donde los carros salen como nuevos, tiene 3 trabajadores que le ayudan y que son las personas que la acompañan diariamente, a quienes Lidia cariñosamente llama sus "guardianes". Aunque es mujer, el aprecio que le tiene a la mecánica es admirable, ya que se conoce todas las piezas de un auto, disfruta mucho de ver como un auto ingresa a su taller destrozado y sale como si no le hubiera sucedido nada. Lleva 20 años en esta actividad y considera que lo más difícil es conseguir los repuestos que necesitan los carros. Lidia desea que con el tiempo su taller crezca y se convierta en el más visitado, sabe que es un largo camino, pero dice que todavía tienes las fuerzas necesarias para afrontarlo. Este es su tercer préstamo con MFP y espera no fallar en los pagos de sus cuotas, en su banco comunal es una socia muy comprometida y solidaria. Con los tres mil nuevos soles solicitados, comprará nuevos repuestos para los autos que está arreglando actualmente.
