Victor produces cow's milk, the same kind that is processed at the Pil Andina in La Paz (the industrial milk plant). He also works as a tractor driver, readying the soil to plant onions and potatoes. This work is his principal source of income, and with his earnings he supports his three children and wife.

Victor lives Achacachi, a small community 2 hours outside of the city of La Paz.

This loan will be used to purchase a cow of medium breed to increase his milk production. It is the first loan that Victor has applied for from IMPRO, and the evaluacion done by his loan officers has qualified him to enter IMPRO's program.

He indicates that his daily milk production is now between three to five liters more. The result is more income coming into his pocket. Update Entrepreneur: Victor Silvestre Location: Achacachi, Bolivia The loan is 73% re paid. "My cattle is young I think that is my advantage." he said now he and his wife are able to make cheese too. "i will go to any place where my product can be sold" said the wife. With new plans and reinforcement of their business the couple is with no troubles at all (for now).
