NEKHE DERETE is a group of women who live near the village of Sandiara, located 25 km from the city of Mbour. They are active in agriculture, small-scale commerce, and the fattening of livestock. With the beginning of the off-season, the group members are requesting a loan to finance their different income-generating activities, which are their only sources of revenues during this period. These revenues enable them to feed their families as they wait for harvest time.
