Aktam Kabilov

This is Kabilov Aktam. He is married with 5 children. Kabilov is filled with enthusiasm and works hard preparing and selling the a local pie called “sambusa” . In a small place which he rents, he makes the pies with course flour and meat baked in coals according to the old recipes. He has big plans and dreams of improving his business. When he was very young, Aktam learned a great deal about sambusa preparation from his mother and that is why he decided to dedicate himself to this work. His goal is to have his own place where he can offer more comforts to his customers, and he'd like to buy a refrigerator so he can begin to offer cold drinks as well. Aktam is requesting an individual loan of 3000 Somoni. He wants to purchase the necessary supplies of foodstuffs for preparing “sambusa” pies and also to improve his business. He is very motivated to grow his business and increase his income. With his efforts, and your important contribution, Aktam can reach his goals.

These conditions have resulted in high levels of unemployment and have forced hundreds of thousands to seek work in other countries, mainly Russia. While the people of Tajikistan are working to improve its agricultural production and manufacturing sector, nearly two-thirds of the population still live in abject poverty.
