Aydee

Aydee is 43 years old, and lives in a house she owns with her husband and the youngest of her children who is 14 years old. For 22 years, she has dedicated herself to farming and raising livestock. She plants mostly potatoes and shares the daily tasks of this endeavor with her husband. When there is a harvest on a weekend, she is also helped by her older children who travel from another city. All the long years of experience have taught her how to manage difficult situations that she now can handle well. Aydee has customers that always buy from her directly at her home, or on her farmlands while she works her crops. Her future plans include continuing to dedicate herself to farming and raising livestock, as it is a great satisfaction for her to be able to remain on the land of her birth. This is the 12th opportunity for Aydee to receive a loan with MFP. She is one of the oldest members of her cooperative bank, and she considers her involvement in this group to have been a great experience because she learned the value of saving and of friendship. The funds she is requesting will be invested into the purchase of a bull to add to her livestock activities, while she waits for her next harvest.

Aydee tiene 43 años, vive con su esposo y el menor de sus hijos de 14 años en su casa propia. Desde hace 22 años se dedica a la agricultura y a la ganadería, siembra principalmente papa y junto a su esposo comparte las tareas diarias que implica esta actividad y los fines de semana cuando hay cosecha los apoyan sus hijos mayores que vienen de otra ciudad. Todos estos largos años de experiencia le han servido para afrontar situaciones difíciles que ahora ve con gran logro. Aydee tiene clientes que siempre compran directamente en su casa o en sus tierras de cultivo mientras están realizando las tareas de la cosecha. Sus planes a futuro son de seguir dedicándose a la agricultura y a la ganadería hasta donde puedan con sus fuerzas porque es de gran satisfacción para ellos permanecer en su tierra natal. Esta es la 12ava oportunidad en que Aydee tiene un préstamo con MFP, ella es una de las integrantes más antiguas de su banco comunal y considera que esta experiencia ha sido muy buena porque aprendió el valor del ahorro y de la amistad. El dinero que viene solicitando será invertido en la compra de un toro para su actividad como ganadera hasta que espera su próxima cosecha.
