Santa Rosa De Yanacoto Group

Marlene Cristina Espinoza Purilla decided to work so she could help her husband. He did not like the idea at first, but in time began to support her. This is how she got started as an assistant in a high school kiosk. Doing this allowed her to cover the household bills and save a bit of money that she used to start selling cosmetics on her own. At first, she was not earning much but then she began to get some customers and the orders kept coming in. This is when she realized that she needed more capital than she had in order to serve her customers, which is why she decided to take out a loan with “EDAPROSPO – PROSPERIDAD” and become a member of the communal bank “Santa Rosa de Yanacoto.” Right now, there are ten members working on their small-businesses.

During the three and a half years she has been working with EDAPROSPO – PROSPERIDAD, she has been able to increase her income. In additiojn, both of her children are studying in a private school and they have a better overall quality of life than they used to have. She feels that daring to start her own business has been worthwhile because she would not have made the progress she has made without it.

Tomé la iniciativa de trabajar a fin de apoyar a mi esposo. Al principio esta idea no le gustó, pero con el tiempo me apoyó, es así que empecé como ayudante en un kiosco de un colegio, durante este tiempo pude cubrir los gastos del hogar y me sirvió para ahorrar un pequeño capital que lo utilicé para trabajar de manera independiente en la venta de cosméticos. Al comienzo los ingresos eran bajos, pero después empecé a ganar clientela y los pedidos eran cada vez más, en ese momento me di cuenta que necesitaba contar con un capital mayor al que tenía; para cumplir con mis clientes. Por ello es que decido hacerme un préstamo de EDAPROSPO – PROSPERIDAD, así logro formar parte de la alcancía comunal “Santa Rosa de Yanacoto”, actualmente somos diez socias quienes participamos y nos dedicamos al comercio minorista. Definitivamente durante estos tres años y medio que he venido trabajando con EDAPROSPO – PROSPERIDAD, he podido incrementar mis ganancias, además ahora mis dos hijos estudian en colegio particular, tenemos una mejor calidad de vida a lo que era antes, siento que no ha sido en vano el atrevimiento que tuve, sino me decidía hacerlo, no tendría el progreso que hoy tengo.
