Mambo from Tanzania! This is 35-year-old Elizabeth F. Masawe from Dar es salaam .She is married with three children, between the ages 4 and 12. Elizabeth has been running a business of mobile phone accessories. It is amazing how many people have mobile phones in Tanzania. This is probably attributable to the fact that it is the only form of phone communication available to most people, because there are few landlines, and followed closely by how relatively cheap mobile phones are here.
Since 2003 Elizabeth has been working at the business for 9-12 hours per day, seven days per week. She is assisted by two employees. Elizabeth currently earns about 950 USD from her business.
