Elsa Mamani De Morales

Elsa belongs to the “Manuela de Hoy” Community Bank in the district of Ilave, province of El Collao, department of Puno, Peru. She is a 53-year-old married mother of six, two of whom she still cares for. She doesn't have a formal education and lives in the village of Camicachi. She has worked with Kiva partner Manuela Ramos for the past five years, and her first loan was for 300 soles, which she used to purchase small livestock. Currently she is requesting a loan of 2,500 soles, which she plans to use to purchase cattle to fatten and sell. Her wish is to keep working and to provide for her children's education and then buy herself a home in Ilave. Elsa enjoys the savings, interactions and talks she receives from her community bank.

La señora Elsa, pertenece al Banco Comunal “Manuela de Hoy” que esta ubicado en el distrito de Ilave, Provincia de El Collao, Departamento de Puno, ella tiene 53 años de edad, de estado civil casada y es madre de 06 hijos (2 a su cargo). No tiene estudios, vive en la Parcialidad de Camicachi.

Trabaja con el Movimiento Manuela Ramos desde hace 05 años, su primer préstamo fue de S/. 300.00 nuevos soles el cual utilizó para la compra de ganado menor.

En este momento ella requiere un préstamo de S/. 2500.00 Nuevos soles, para la compra de ganado mayor, comprará ganado vacuno para engorde.

Su deseo es continuar trabajando para poder educar a sus hijos, y luego comprarse su casita en Ilave.

A ella le gustan los ahorros, los encuentros y las charlas que se dan en su Banco Comunal.
