Eliana Garcia Chumbe

Eliana belongs to the community bank "Virgen de la Puerta," in the Bellavista district, Bellavista province, San Martin department, in Peru. She is married, 37 years old, and is the mother of three children, all of whom depend on her and are studying.

She was motivated to open her own business by her determination to see her children become professionals. She sells groceries from her own home, a site that is well-equipped for receiving customers.

The profit that she earns contributes to her family's income. She is well-liked by her regular customers who come to her shop every day to buy things, because she has the products that a housewife needs, and she shares her attention and charisma with them.

With this loan of PEN 2,500, she will buy sacks of rice and sugar, packages of beans, boxes of milk and preserved fish in a variety of brands, crates of eggs, and personal hygiene items to continue serving her customers.

Elianita, as she is called affectionately, strongly wishes to continue working hard. Day after day, she gives thanks for the great opportunity to move forward as a woman. She also thanks the Manuela Ramos movement (a Peruvian feminist movement) for helping her to become a businesswoman.

La señora Eliana, pertenece al Banco Comunal “Virgen de la Puerta”, Distrito de Bellavista, Provincia Bellavista, Departamento de San Martín. Es Casada, tiene 37 años y es madre de 03 hijos, los 03 que dependen de ella y están estudiando.

Su impulso y empeño de ver a sus hijos profesionales, le motivaron a emprender su propio negocio de venta de abarrotes, se encuentra ubicada en su misma casa, un local muy bien acondicionado para atender a sus clientes.

Las ganancias que genera ayuda al ingreso económico de su familia. En la actualidad, es muy querida por sus clientes fijos que a diario acuden a su bodega a comprar porque ella cuenta con todo los productos que el ama de casa necesita y es ella misma quien les brinda su atención con el carisma que le caracteriza.

Con este préstamo de S/. 2,500.00, comprará arroz y azúcar en sacos, fideos en paquetes, leche y conservas de pescado en cajas y en variedad de marcas, huevos en javas y artículos de higiene personal para continuar dando una mejor atención a sus clientes.

Elianita, como le dicen de cariño, se siente con mucha fuerza para continuar trabajando, día a día agradece a la vida, por brindarle una gran oportunidad de salir adelante como mujer, igualmente al Movimiento Manuela Ramos, por iniciarla a convertirse en una mujer empresaria.
