The “Flores de febrero” (Flowers of February) Association is a dynamic group of women who draw up their own rules such as the agreed day and time for their meetings, penalties for late payments, etc. The group’s president, Lourdes Gonzales, maintains order at each meeting.
“Flores de febrero” es un grupo de señoras dinámicas que elaboran su reglamento interno, es decir, ponerse de acuerdo en el día y hora de la reunión, así como las multas por retrazo, falta e incumplimiento de la cuota, a la cabeza de su presidenta Lourdes Gonzales quien las dirige bajo un ordenado orden del día.
Lourdes cuenta que ella tiene una librería y requiere del préstamo para incrementar su mercadería , es decir, comprar hojas, cuadernos, lápices, cartulina y otros. Las demás integrantes también tienen su propios negocios como la venta de zapatos, ropa y CD, pero una mayoría tiene el negocio de macramé, es un tipo de tejido que se hace con las manos y pueden elaborar carteras, chalinas y sombreros y necesitan el préstamo para comprar insumos como la cola de rata.
