Qorimakis Group

This group is called "QUORIMAKIS," a Quechua name which means "hands of gold." The group has 11 members who live in the Huanchaq district. They meet once a month at a central site in Cusco de Arariwa, in the district of Huanchaq.
Our members are in their third loan phase. They pursue a variety of activities, among which the business of retailing is prevalent. Our members invest their money in four members who work at handicrafts. They transform potter's clay into beautiful decorative products, utensils, and much more. Another small group invests money in the purchase and sale of potatoes and vegetables, restaurant liqueurs, and clothes. One of the members, la Sra. Roxana, has a travel agency and transports tourists. All the members wish to continue to improve the quality of their lives and the lives of their families. They apply for this loan to continue with their businesses and improve the quality of their lives.
Our members value and are grateful for the help given through these loans, and they promise to make loan payments on time.

El banco comunal se denomina “QORIMAKIS”, Nombre quechua que significa, manos de oro, Este banco comunal está conformado por 11 miembros, los que viven en el distrito de Huanchaq, ellos se reúnen una vez al mes en el local principal en Cusco de Arariwa, en el mismo centro del distrito de Huanchaq.

Nuestros miembros son socios que están en su tercera fase, todos ellos realizan diferentes actividades, entre las que resaltan el comercio minorista, nuestros socios invierten sus dineros en cuatro socios están relacionados con la artesanía, ellos mismos elaboran manualmente la arcilla, la cuál la convierten en bellísimos productos decorativos, utensilios y mucho más, otro pequeño grupo invierte el dinero en la compra y venta de papa, verduras, restaurante, licores y venta de ropa, y una de las socias la Sra. Roxana tiene una agencia de turismo y tiene transporte turístico y de este modo ellos desean seguir mejorando su calidad de vida del de ellos y de toda sus familia, por lo que solicitan el préstamo, para continuar en sus negocios.

Nuestros socios valoran y agradecen el apoyo brindado mediante este medio y así mismo se comprometen a cumplir con el pago de sus deudas en el tiempo establecido.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
