The village bank, which consists of 30 people who will use the loan for a variety of purposes, is located in Ta Reap Doun Sor village in Kandal Province. Mrs. Socheat Uch, the village bank president, is a vegetable seller in the local market. Since this business is going well, she wants to expand it and so is requesting a loan to buy different kinds of vegetable to resell in the local market. Her husband, Mr. Pov Borin, is a motorbike taxi driver who can make a small income to support the whole family. Mrs. Socheat Uch is 29 years old and the mother of two children, four and five years of age.
