She resides in and owns a four-roomed house where she is living with four people. Faith takes care of additional family members. There is electricity and piped water at her home. The family gets three meals a day.

Faith resides and works in a semi-urban area which is on the outskirts of Kampala. Faith owns a poultry farm and sells in Nalukolongo, one of Kampala's suburbs. She uses public transport to and from shopping and does her shopping once a week. She sells to an average of 10 people a day and sells to all categories of people. She works seven days a week.

Faith sells mainly on a retail basis and her garage functions as her business premises. Her major monthly expenses include school fees for the remaining child, electricity and water bills She has been in this business for the last two years. Besides the poultry business, she also owns a telephone booth.

Faith has been with MCDT for over five years and is servicing her twentieth loan, working with the same group mates. She wants to use this loan to buy more chicken feed. Faith is aspiring of seeing her business grow bigger and owning permanent business premises.
