Tsend-ayush Dagva

Tsend-Ayush Dagva Is 61 years old and lives with her husband in the Baganuur district of Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. She just finished repaying her first loan with Kiva and is now requesting a second loan!

Her three children are all grown-up and live with their own families. Her husband has leg problems and cannot walk without assistance. Besides taking care of her husband, she runs a small fast food store where she serves various local dishes, including steamed and fried dumplings. She mostly serves to locals who work and visit the local black market. She is quite well-known for her delicious food at the market.

She says that she enjoys cooking meals for those who are working hard in the market to make their living. She further notes that she gains lots of energy and respect from locals’ appreciation of her delicious meals. At her food store, she also trains those kids who would like to learn how to cook but have no money for training fees.

She requests a loan to purchase more meat for her food business.
