Gladys

Gladys is 44 years old, she lives with her brother and aging mother in the house they own. Since childhood she has dedicated herself to agricultural and livestock work. The house has a spacious stable where she and her brothers are in charge of the animals' cleaning and feeding. They also make sure they are free of parasitic infections.

After a month of intense work, they sell the animals in the livestock market and also rent out their bulls for ploughing during the planting season. The cattle farm brings them more income than farming the land does, thus Gladys is planning to expand the stable space in the future to be able to house more animals.

This is the sixth loan she has had with MFP; she is much loved by the other members of her community bank due to her charisma. In turn, she is committed to continuing her active participation in her group. The money that she is requesting will be used to purchase seeds and fertilizer to create more pasture that will serve to feed her cattle. It will also be invested in a new business to sell bricks.

Gladys tiene 44 años, vive con su hermano y su anciana madre en su casa propia. Desde su niñez se dedica a las actividades agrícolas y ganaderas, tiene en su misma casa un amplio establo donde ella y sus hermanos se encargan de atender a los animales en la limpieza y alimentación, además cuidan de que estén desparasitados. Luego de un mes de trabajo intenso los venden en la feria ganadera y también arriendan sus toros para los arados en las épocas de siembra. La ganadería le trae mayores ganancias que el cultivo de la tierra, por lo que Gladys está planeando para más adelante ampliar el espacio de su establo para albergar a más animales. Esta es la sexta vez que tiene un préstamo con MFP, ella es muy querida por los demás integrantes de su banco comunal debido a su carisma. A su vez, se compromete a seguir adelante en la participación activa en su grupo. El dinero que está solicitando será destinado a la compra de semillas y abono para sembrar pastos que servirán de alimento para sus animales, también invertirá en un nuevo negocio que será la venta de ladrillos.
