Thida Rous

Mrs.Thida Rous, who is thirty-five years old, and her husband, Mr. Chinda Duk, who is thirty-four, live along the Tonle Basac River, a tributary of the nearby Mekong River, about fifteen kilometers from Phnom Penn, the capital city of Cambodia. They were married in 1991 and have five children - two sons and three daughters.

Thida has been selling flowers and bananas for twelve years. Her husband assists his wife in the business. They buy bananas and flowers from villagers and transport them to sell in the Phnom Penh market.

Thida is requesting her first loan of $1,000 to build a fence around her house. She hopes that she will have no problem with her loan.
