Update on Yolanda´s business Entrepreneur: Yolanda Alvarado Ramirez Location: Tegucigalpa, Honduras Yolanda sells a variety of clothing for adults and children, but with her recent loan, she decided to focus on student uniforms since school is about to begin. Yolanda sells her products in the neighborhoods on the outskirts of Tegucigalpa and at the local outdoor market. To sell her products in the neighborhoods, Yolanda must take the bus. A few months ago she was robbed on the bus and lost some of her inventory. As a result, she is scared to carry valuables on the bus, and has chosen to focus her sales on the neighborhood near her daughter’s store so she can leave her inventory there overnight. To supplement her income Yolanda also sells small snacks such as chips and fresh fruit juices from her home.
