Belinda runs a store in Chinandega’s Central Market that sells cosmetics and home products to her customers. She is not the first person in her family to have store in the Market, in fact, most of her family members have been working her for years. Within eyesight of her store are two other stores run by two of her cousins. In her store, Belinda sells shampoo, makeup, combs, nylons, and much more. She used the loan to increase her inventory by buying a little of everything.

Her business has benefited economically from the loans she has received from CEPRODEL, she said. This is her 13th loan with CEPRODEL. I like the type of work I do and the loans help me keep doing it, she said. Right now the biggest challenges facing her business are the stiff competition coming from other stores in the market and her inability to keep all of the items her customers would like in stock.

In the future, Belinda would like to have more in stock in her store, so she can raise her income. She also wants to support her children and help them move forward in life. Belinda is single with two children ages 3 and 7. In the video, she says her name and describes how she works with CEPRODEL to improve her business.
