Buuveibaatar Byambasuren lives with his wife and two teenage daughters in Arhangai province, one of Mongolia's central provinces. His daughters are students in a local high school. Buuveibaatar has a small factory for half-processing animal intestines, which he purchases from local herders. Once intestines are half-processed, he transports them to sausage factories in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.
Buuveibaatar runs his factory with the help of his wife and two daughters. Since he started out in 2003, his factory has done well; his business capital has increased from 1,000,000 MNT to 3,800,000 MNT. Buuveibaatar is now requesting a loan to purchase more unprocessed intestines for his business. In the future, he hopes to put aside some of his profits for his daughters' university tuition.
