Thank you for helping Emma in her business. Her Php 50,000 (US $1050) current loan has been instrumental to the improvement of her business and her house. She invested Php 30,000 (US $625) to buy added stocks for her store while the remaining Php 20,000 (US $416.67) was used to buy an extra unit beside where she lives. Currently she sells various kinds of food like cold cuts, fish and vegetables. She even sells slippers and other cosmetics. She earns a total of Php 16,000 net profit (US $333) per month. (The PHP47,500 profit mentioned in her profile story is a gross earning per month.)

Emma is an energetic outspoken mother of two children. It’s because of her strong and good-natured personality that made her one of the respected members of her fellowship group*. She loves being with people and always gives a helping hand to those who are in need. She realized that she is more sensitive and understanding to other people than before. “To become successful in life you need to establish good relationships; first with God then to other people.”

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay MF loans.
