Dorita belongs to the "Siempre Unidas" Communal Bank in the district of Tarapoto, San Martín province, in the department of San Martín. She lives with her common-law husband, is 33 years old and the mother of 3 daughters who she still supports and who are studying. She provides a call center service for local, national and international calls and has been doing this activity for years. Her business is located in a storefront set up so that she can take care of her customers. She started off with a loan from Manuel Ramos, started saving little by little and with this money bought a cell phone and a telephone. She has continued to progress with the business, providing service to the local community and today has even more equipment. With this loan, she will buy more cell phones and fixed line phones so that she can offer better service and attend to her customers. Part of the money will also be used to buy virtual and physical phone cards. Today she is an independent woman and she and her husband make decisions and manage the business. Belonging to a women´s group has helped her to better understand her rights and together they make sure these are respected.

La señora Dorita, pertenece al Banco Comunal “Siempre Unidas”, Distrito de Tarapoto, Provincia San Martin, Departamento de San Martín. Es Conviviente, tiene 33 años y es madre de 03 hijas, que aun dependen de ella y están estudiando.Tiene años dedicándose a este tipo de actividad, brindando servicio de llamadas telefónicas local, nacional e internacional, su negocio se encuentra ubicado en un local muy bien acondicionado, para atender a sus clientes. Se inicio con el primer prestamo de Manuela Ramos, poco a poco fue ahorrando y con ese dinero fue comprando un celular y un teléfono, todo esto para empezar. Así, siguió superándose y hoy en la actualidad, continua con el mismo negocio, donde brinda el servicio, a los moradores de la comunidad y hoy se encuentra mas implementada. Con este préstamo de S/. 2,500.00, comprará mas celulares y teléfonos fijos, para así brindar un mejor servicio y atender mucho mejor al cliente, parte del dinero también lo invertirá comprando tarjetas virtuales y físicas.Hoy en día es una mujer independiente, y es ella y su esposo quienes toman las decisiones y administran su negocio.Dorita nos cuenta: Que el pertenecer a un grupo de mujeres le ha ayudado a conocer mejor sus derechos y juntas hacer que estas sean respetadas.
