Nasreen Muhammad Ashiq Group

Nasreen baji is married to Muhammad ashiq and they both have resided in a city named Chichawatni in Pakistan for the past 10 years. They are a very hardworking couple. Nasreen baji operates a sewing business to share the financial burden with her husband, who runs a food-selling business in the community. He sells specifically Punjabi foods like Dahi bhalas and samosas. He has been doing this business for the past five years. Nasreen baji is applying for a loan to buy material (lentils, cooking oil and spices) to grow her husband’s food-selling business.

She is the group leader of three other women from her locality. Najma naheed baji wants a loan to buy vegetables to sell. Bushra baji and Parveen akhtar baji each want a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw (local three-wheeled motor vehicle).

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.

About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
