Shamshad baji has been a citizen of a city named Arifwala in Pakistan for the past 15 years. Her husband's name is Muhammad bota and he runs a food business in the community. People come from different towns to place orders because of his quality food. He sells specifically Punjabi food items such as samosas and Dahi bhala. Shamshad baji prepares these items. Her husband admits that his whole success belongs to his wife, Shamshad. She feels very proud of this compliment. She is applying for a loan to buy materials (flour, spices and cooking oil) to expand the food-selling business.

She is the group leader of four other women from her locality. Rashida baji and Maqboolan baji each want a loan to buy seasonal vegetables to sell. Shamim baji wants a loan to buy materials (sugar, dry fruits and cooking oil) for her sweetmeat-selling business. Zareena baji wants a loan to buy a donkey cart.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.

Note: Shamshad baji is seated in the middle of the members.
