Petronila

Petronilla is a very amiable and simple woman. She is 56 years old and lives in a home as a caretaker, along with her son Juan who is 28. What she wishes for the most is to improve her quality of life. In a small adobe room, Petronila knits her crafts, which she then sells to wholesalers who are in charge of selling and distributing the garments. Her knitting work arrives at the markets of important cities such as Cuzco, Puno, Juliaca, etc. since the models that she makes are really new. In her 17 years with this business, the most difficult thing for Petronila is to finish her work because this is what takes the most time and she needs to be patient. However, she knows that this is not an impediment to achieve her goals and start a shop of her knitting work. She enjoys knitting a lot and it makes her feel better. Petronila has four loans with MFP and she is very punctual with her repayments since she does not want to cause problems with her community bank, with which she feels very happy. She knows that she can count on her colleagues for support for her progress. She will purchase new and better materials to make better quality garments with the 2,000 Soles she's requested.

Petronila es una mujer sencilla y muy amable, tiene 56 años y vive en una casa como cuidante junto a su hijo Juan de 28 años y lo que más desea es mejorar su calidad de vida. En un pequeño cuarto de adobe, Petronila teje sus artesanías, las cuales luego vende a los mayoristas, quienes se encargan de vender y distribuir las prendas. Sus tejidos llegan a los mercados de ciudades importantes como: Cuzco, Puno, Juliaca, etc., ya que los modelos que realiza son realmente novedosos. En sus 17 años con este negocio, lo más difícil para Petronila es hacer el acabado a sus tejidos, puesto que esto es lo que más demora y debe ser muy paciente; pero sabe que eso no es impedimento para alcanzar sus metas e instalar una tienda de tejidos artesanales, ya que disfruta mucho de tejer y mientras más lo hace mejor se siente. Petronila tiene 4 préstamos con MFP y es muy puntual en sus cuotas, puesto que no quiere darle problemas a su banco comunal, en el cual se siente muy contenta y sabe que cuenta con sus compañeras como apoyo para su progreso. Con los dos mil nuevos soles solicitados comprará nuevos y mejores materiales para fabricar tejidos de mayor calidad.
