San Juan De Quihuares Group

The members of the Communal Bank “San Juan de Quihuares” are from the Acomayo province, located 3 hours from Cusco.

The members alternate their work between farming and livestock. They farm a variety of products in this area of the country, such as a varieties of potato, corn, wheat, barley, sweet potato, oca (a starchy tuber), and vegetables. Our members need a loan to be able to invest in buying a large number of seeds and fertilizer for their land and to buy some calves to fatten and sell as well as make dairy products from the milk and other small business sales. Here 8 members are dancing for the de Qoylloriti, which is a snow-capped mountain, which historically the Incas have provided homage to for being part of their God, providing them water.

The members are grateful for the loan and they promise to repay it in its entirety within the established timeframe.

Los socios del banco comunal “SAN JUAN DE QUIHUARES”, son de la provincia de Acomayo, ubicado a 3 horas de Cusco.

Los socios alternan sus actividades con la agricultura y la ganadería, ellos se dedican a cultivar sus tierras con los diferentes productos que la zona brinda, como es las diversas variedades de papa, el maíz, el trigo, la cebada, el olluco, la oca y verduras. Nuestros socios necesitan el préstamo para poder invertir en la compra de mayor numero de semillas y abonos para fertilizar sus tierras y en la compra de algunos ganados vacunos, que también los engordan y los venden, de igual manera sacan los derivados de la leche y hacen pequeños negocios con ellos. Aquí 8 socios se encuantran bailando para el Señor de Qoylloriti, que es una montaña con la copa nevada, que desde los tiempos de los Inkas se le rindió homenaje por ser parte de su Dios, el que les proveé de agua.

Los socios agradecen el préstamo otorgado y se comprometen a cumplir con el pago total de sus deudas en el plazo establecido.
