Madina Diallo

Madam Madina Diallo, age 42, is married and the mother of 6 children. She lives in a monogamous home with her husband and their children in the Hamdallaye neighborhood of Ségou city (fourth administrative region of the Republic of Mali).
Madina dropped out very early from school in the 7th basic year( Malian educational system) in favor of braiding. Besides braiding, she also learnt a business from her mother who sold rice and fire wood. Having married, her husband owns a second-hand clothes shop and she opted to practice this business about 12 years ago in the big market of Ségou where she enjoys a huge reputation.
With the aim to increase the volume of her business, she turned to Soro Yiriwaso. She‘s been in contact with Soro Yiriwaso since 4 years. After having repaid correctly 4 group loans and 2 individual loans, she is on her 3rd individual loan.
She intends to use this loan to buy 5 bails of second hand clothes from wholesalers in the big Ségou market and sells by retail and usually cash sale to her customers made of men and women in the premise of the big Ségou market and to households in Hamdallaye. Madam Madina Diallo intends to make a monthly profit of 50.000FCFA which will be used to take care of some family needs, to repay the interest of the loan and to make a bit of saving. Her ambition is to build a house to live in.

Madame Madina Diallo est âgée de 42 ans, mariée et mère de 6 enfants, elle habite dans un foyer monogame avec son mari et leurs enfants dans le quartier Hamdallaye de la ville de Ségou (4ème région administrative de la république du Mali).
Madina abandonne très tôt l’école depuis la classe de 7ème année fondamentale (système scolaire Malien) au profit de la tresse. En plus de la tresse, elle s’initia également au commerce auprès de sa mère qui vendait du riz et du bois de chauffe. Avec son mariage à un mari qui possède un magasin de friperie, elle opta pour l’exercice de cette activité commerciale depuis maintenant une dizaine d’année au grand marché de Ségou et jouit d’une grande réputation.
Dans le but d’augmenter le volume de son activité, elle a fait recours à Soro Yiriwaso. Elle est en relation avec cette dernière depuis 4 ans. Après avoir bien remboursés 4 prêts solidaires et 2 prêts individuels; elle est à son 3ème prêt individuel.
Elle compte utiliser ce prêt pour acheter, 5 balles de friperies au grand marché de Ségou auprès des grossistes et effectuent sa vente en détail et généralement au comptant à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes sur place au grand marché de Ségou et à domicile à Hamdallaye.
Madame Madina Diallo compte réaliser un bénéfice mensuel de 50.000FCFA qui sera utilisé pour prendre en charge certaines charges familiales, rembourser les intérêts du prêt et faire un peu d’épargne.
Son ambition est de construire une maison à usage d’habitation.
