Rosario Mala

Rosario Mala is from the city of Oroquieta. She is 44 years old. Rosario is married and has four school-aged children. To make a living, Rosario owns & operates a rice field business in the agriculture sector raising crops. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from planting & harvesting rice for sale. Rosario has been engaged in her business for over five years and earns approximately 8000 PHP a month for these activities.

In 2008, Rosario joined PMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Rosario has successfully repaid a previous loan from PMPC. Rosario is requesting a new loan of 10000 PHP, which will be used to purchase fertilizer such as manure. This loan will be the third loan taken out by Rosario from PMPC. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of her family.
