Vida Gyan

Vida Gyan is forty-five years old. She is married and has three children: two sons and a daughter. She lives with her husband and children in a rented apartment in Dwenase, a suburb of Sefwi-Wiawso, in the Western Region of Ghana. Her husband is a farmer. Vida is a fish-monger. She sells smoked fish. She sells the fish from a tabletop stall at the market square. She also supplies to retailers and food vendors in her community. Vida buys cartons of fresh fish from big cold stores in Kumasi and smokes them herself. She has been in this business for ten years and wants a loan to buy fish in bulk. She desires to expand her business and to improve upon her standard of living.
