Efua Otuwa

Efua Otuwa sells fish. She buys fresh fish from the shore and sends it home for processing through smoking before she sells it at the market, which is at Kormantse near Cape Coast. Efua has received no formal education. She is married and has two children; her husband is a fisherman. She has been doing this business since 1989. She is responsible for feeding her children and paying bills. Her loan will be used to purchase more fish to process for sale at the market. She hopes to use the new profits from her business to expand her business.
