Olga

Olga is 51 years old and lives in her relatives’ house, with her two sons who are 26 and 24 years old. She has been selling newspapers for the last 25 years in a booth that is located downtown. Her main customers are the drivers of transportation companies and the passengers, since the booth is located near the bus stop. Olga buys the newspapers and magazines very early in the morning and remains at the booth until noon.

The business has had good results and profits that help her to provide for her household. Olga plans to buy some more booths and start to offer books. This is her third loan with MFP. She feels very happy to be part of her community bank where there is trust and renews her commitment to continue to work responsibly. The loan will be invested in the purchase of more books and magazines that are of the interest of her customers

Olga tiene 51 años, vive con sus dos hijos de 26 y 24 años en la casa de unos familiares. Desde hace 25 años se dedica a la venta de periódicos en un puesto que tiene ubicado en una zona céntrica de su ciudad. Sus principales clientes son los choferes de las empresas de transporte, ya que está ubicada cerca de los paraderos para pasajeros. Olga adquiere sus periódicos y revistas durante la madrugada para que todas las mañanas, muy temprano ya esté ofreciendo sus diarios, permaneciendo en su puesto hasta el medio día. Esta forma de trabajo le ha dado buenos resultados y obtiene ganancias que le permiten sostener su casa. Para el futuro, Olga se proyecta en adquirir otros puestos de venta de periódicos y empezar a ofrecer libros. Esta es la tercera vez que tiene un préstamo con MFP, ella se siente muy satisfecha de formar parte de su banco comunal donde reina la confianza, además renueva su compromiso de seguir trabajando responsablemente. Con el dinero que solicita comprará más libros y revistas de interés de sus clientes.
