Faithful Women Group

Sarah is a 48-year-old woman. She never went to school because she grew up deep in the interior of Liberia. Sarah has 4 children that she raised until they were so big they left the house and 2 children that she is still working on raising in her home. All of her children were able to attend school (unlike her) and she made sure to send them to private school so that they could have a quality education.

Sarah’s business is selling plastic dishes in the market. She has been doing this for 4 years. She says that she attracts customers by talking sweet to them and making them laugh. She dreams that her business will continue to grow so that she can support the rest of her children through school.

With the loan she is requesting, she will be able to restock her dishes. Because the currency is ever changing, Sarah does not have a specfic number of containers of dishes that she plans to buy. She hopes that the money will stretch to allow her to purchase 13-20 dozen.



About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
