Hirma is 37 years old, widowed, and lives in a rented house with her 3 children (ages 17, 15, and 7). For 8 years she has been in the business of selling seasonal fruits. Equipped with a tricycle, she transports her goods each morning to her vending location at one of the main street corners in the city. In addition to fruit, she also prepares juices for sale. She usually works alone, but her children help with the business during the holidays. Thanks to the profits she has earned, Hirma is able to maintain her household. In the future, she hopes to have a stable vending location because the municipal police order her to move because she does not have a license.

This is her third loan with MFP. Hirma is considered an integral and very responsible communal bank member, always encouraging a positive attitude within her group. The money she is requesting will be used to buy fruit wholesale in another city where prices are lower. In addition, the loan will be used to cover the cost of transporting her goods.
