Wilhemina is a 37-year-old woman who runs a dry goods shop out of her house. Wilhemina has been running this business for 2 years and has plans to grow her business to having a shop outside and hopefully one day being an international company.

The loan she is requesting will help her to restock her store. She wants to buy additional soap, candles, and sardines particularly.

Wilhemina was only able to complete school up to the junior level before she had to stop. Now Wilhemina has 3 children of her own whom she is able to send to school. Her oldest child is 17, her second oldest is 10, and her youngest is 4. She also cares for 4 other children who are not her own. One is her husband's child, one is her brother-in-law’s child, one is her nephew, and the other is her granddaughter.
