Karina is 32 years old lives with her spouse, David, and their three children: Joseline, Alison, and Cielo, in their own home. She has always characterized herself as being a very charismatic and cordial woman, which is the secret to her business. She is dedicated to selling wallets, purses, caps, and other accessories in the market of the district of Puente Piedra in the city of Lima.

Her job gives her lots of pleasure, because she can make recommendations to her clients about what goes well with them, and it keeps her busy through the long day. Although she has four years experience in this work, which makes her able to do her job, we cannot say that it is easy, because she dedicates practically her whole day to it. Karina works from eight in the morning until nine at night on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, since on Tuesdays and Thursdays she does her job at a market closer to her home.

In the future she would like to have her own clothing store exclusively for kids, because she loves kids a lot. Furthermore, she thinks that this market will be more profitable, because there is more variety in colors and designs and she wouldn't have competition because there are no stores in her area dedicated to this market. This is her first individual loan with Microfinanzas PRISMA, having previous experience in community banks, but due to lack of time to attend group meetings, she has opted for this choice. With the money that she is requesting, she will buy more novel wallets and purses to increase her sales and come closer to realizing her dreams.

Además ya tiene 4 años de experiencia en esta labor, lo cual hace que se le facilite el trabajo, pero no por esto podemos decir que sea fácil, puesto que debe dedicarle prácticamente todo el día. Karina atiende desde las 8 de la mañana hasta las 9 de la noche los días Lunes, Miércoles y Viernes, ya que los días Martes y Jueves lo hace en uno de los mercados más cercanos a su casa. Para el futuro le gustaría tener su propia tienda de ropa exclusivamente para niños, ya que los niños le gustan mucho; además piensa que este mercado es mucho más rentable porque hay más variedad de colores y diseños y no tendría competencia, puesto que no hay tiendas por su zona dedicadas a este rubro. Este es su primer préstamo individual con Microfinanzas PRISMA, teniendo anteriores experiencias en bancos comunales, pero por falta de tiempo para asistir a las reuniones de grupo, optó por esta modalidad. Con el dinero que solicita comprará más novedosas carteras para aumentar sus ventas y acercar a la realidad sus sueños.
