The group “Por un Futuro Mejor” (Towards a Better Future) is made up of three hard-working women. They have a strong will to overcome obstacles, get on well together, are great friends and trust each other. One of the characteristics of this group is that they are all reputable women.

They wish to expand the following businesses:

Martina Cruz has been in business for ten years, primarily selling new clothes and footwear. Her business is located opposite Democracias Boulevard in the town of Danli. She is 70 years old and still a hard worker. Martina is single and has a granddaugher living with her whom she supports 100%. Age has never been an obstacle to working hard and doing well. With the income that she earns from her business, she has built her own house in which she has three rooms to rent. The money she gets from them pays her personal expenses.

Maria Benita Cruz began her business two years ago selling new clothing and footwear. It is situated in the Nuevo Amanecer market in the town of Danli. Maria is married with four children; her husband works in a tobacco factory. She made the decision to start a business so she could help her husband with the household expenses.

Ever since she was 15 years old, Maria Chacon has earned her living by selling vegetables, rice, and pasta—she now has 30 years of experience doing this work. Maria is married with nine children, five of whom help her by selling the foodstuffs in different places close to where she lives.

All of the women need a loan so that they and their families can improve their lives.
