Hagar Koufie is married and has four dependents. She has received schooling through junior high. Hagar sells provisions and hair products at Zion in Cape Coast, which she has done since 2000. Her husband is a sprayer.

Hagar uses her income to pay for school fees for her children, clothing, utility bills and other family expenses. Hagar will use the loan to purchase hair products and provisions in bulk for sale. With the new profit from her expanded business, Hagar plans to support her husband in saving towards a house they want to build for the family.
