Salvador Garcia (white cap) is from a rural community called La Ica. La Ica is a small town with only about 600 people located an hour from the port in Veracruz.

Don Chava, as members of his community know, raises and sells sheep. He worked in the United States for 6 years first on a farm and then in a restaurant. He had to return to his country when he became a widow and had to take care of his five children. Three of his children still live with him.

Don Chava has been raising sheep for two years and this is the reason he is asking for a loan. He wants to buy food for his sheep. His goal is to have his own land since he is keeping his sheep on land that is borrowed right now.

He is a member of a group called “Las Abejitas” that is made up of four men and eight women. The members of this group make a living by raising and selling sheep, selling regional foods, selling products from catalogs, and general commerce.

They are asking for a loan of $3,975 to invest in different businesses to be able to continue improving their quality of life and that of their families.

LAS ABEJITAS GROUP JOURNAL, What happened with loan?

Entrepreneur: Las Abejitas Group
Location: Piedras Negras, Ver., Mexico

Salvador García Sánchez has beeen raising sheep for two years. he lives with 5 son, and works everyday to give them a better life.

Don Salvador's goal is to increase the reproduction of their sheep as well as having a place where they live quietly in her place as where it is borrowed right now.

Don Salvador requested credit to buy food for the sheep and put his stable, but could not do the barn because their lambs had offspring, increasing the breeding of sheep and took the credit for food and vaccines.

Don Salvador is very happy because with the loan could deal with the costs of vaccines and feed the new lambs, and that did not include this expense. This is good because it increases its production of sheep.

The Abejitas gruop is the name of his gruop made it with twelve persons, their worked and paid her loan on time.
