This is Dura Sesay, Isatu Sankoh, Hassan Kanu and Adama Turay. They named their group Mano Group. This is the first loan these entrepreneurs are receiving from SMT/Kiva. With this loan, they will be able to expand their businesses, make better profits and consequently improve on their standards of living. Thus they are able to pay their children’s school fees and other school related charges and to feed and clothe them.

Dura Sesay (right) is the leader of the group. Dura was born in Port Loko, in northern Sierra Leone. He is fifty years of age and married to a businesswoman. They have four children: two of his children are in primary school and two are in secondary school.

Dura Sesay sells fowls and has been in this business for more than thirty years now. With this loan, he will be able to get at least five dozen fowls to sell.
