Ama Sae

Ama Sae is 44 years old. She is married and has four children—a son and three daughters. One is in the university and the others are in junior high and primary school. She lives with her children and husband in a rented apartment in Dwenase, a commercial town in the Western Region and a suburb of Sefwi-Wiawso. Ama is a hard working woman. Her husband works with a timber firm. She sells groceries such as Milo, sugar, rice, candies, bread, and so forth in a store on the street. Ama has been in business for 12 years and wants a loan to buy more provisions to expand her business. She is hopeful to improve upon her standard of living and give all her children a good education.
