Mai Abu Ayash

Mai is a 33-year-old Palestinian woman. She is married and has three children, a three-year-old daughter and two sons aged nine and ten.

Mai has been working in agriculture since she finished school. She has considerable experience in cultivation and planting. Her business grew dramatically, and Mai now owns a greenhouse, where she grows cucumbers, peas, and beans.

Mai is a very active woman and has other businesses in addition to the greenhouse. She raises rabbits and runs a small day care, where she currently has eight children. Mai says that she will do everything she can to ensure a better life for her children.

Mai's husband is a government employee but he helps in the greenhouse and sells the products at the vegetable market. Her mother-in-law helps to manage the day care and take care of the children.

Mai has been a client at FATEN for more than eight years. She has received more than ten loans, all of which were fully repaid on time.
