Kwabena Mensa

Kwabena Mensa is 37 years old, married and has four children, two sons and two daughters, all of whom are still in primary school. He lives with his family in a rented apartment in a commercial town in Ghana's Western region called Dwenase, a suburb of Sefwi-Wiawso. His wife is a hard-working woman, and Kwabena runs a grocery store with her. The couple sells groceries such as sugar, rice, candies and bread in a store on a busy street. He has been in business for 10 years and wants a loan to buy more items to sell to his customers, and to expand his business. He hopes to improve his family's standard of living and give all of his children good educations.
