Marcelina is 40 years of age, a very hardworking woman and the mother of nine children. Five of them live with her in her house which her husband built with her help. Her greatest wish, over the past years, is to have several fields for coffee growing. Now with the help of her husband she feels that the time has come to realize her dream, and she is working hard at this in her fields of coffee, plantain and pineapple. In order to make hay while the sun shines, she gets up at 4am to prepare breakfast and lunch, so that by 8am she is leaving for the fields accompanied by her husband who always seems so agreeable. Marcelina likes doing agricultural work, she loves every one of her crops since she knows that thanks to her dedication and care they will turn out to be very profitable. And thus she instills in her children and teaches them to work seriously and responsibly since by means of agriculture the have acquired their materials rewards, such as their house and farmland and at the same time provided a comfortable life for her children.
This is her fifth loan with Microfinanzas PRISMA and during the previous cycles, she has been responsible with her payments and also in her role as President of her Communal Bank. During this time she has been rigorous and serious in the collection of accounts from each participant, who all have great respect for her. The funds that she is requesting are for the purchase of nitrates and potassium fertilizers in order to fortify her coffee and plantain fields. A portion will also be invested in the purchase of purple plantain seedlings.

Marcelina tiene 40 años, es una mujer muy trabajadora y madre de 9 hijos; de los cuales, 5 viven con ella en su casa, la cual construyó su esposo con la ayuda de ella. Su mayor anhelo, desde hace años atrás, es tener varias chacras cafetaleras, ahora con la ayuda de su esposo siente que está a punto de alcanzar su sueño, por lo que trabaja arduamente en sus plantaciones de café, plátano y piña. Para que le alcance el tiempo se levanta a las 4.00am para preparar el desayuno y el almuerzo, a eso de las 8.00am está partiendo a sus chacras en compañía de su esposo, lo que le parece muy placentero. A Marcelina le gusta realizar los trabajos agrícolas, ama a cada uno de sus cultivos, puesto que sabe que gracias a su dedicación y cuidado le resultarán muy rentables. Por ello inculca y enseña a sus hijos a trabajar con seriedad y responsabilidad, ya que mediante la agricultura adquirieron sus bienes materiales; tales como su casa y terrenos cultivables, asimismo les brindaron comodidad a sus hijos. Este es su quinto crédito con MFP, durante los ciclos anteriores ha trabajado responsablemente en sus pagos, asimismo en el cargo de presidenta de su banco comunal. En este tiempo demostró rigor y seriedad en la cobranza de los montos de cada integrante, quienes la respetan mucho. El dinero que solicita es para la compra de nitrato y potasio (fertilizantes) para abonar sus chacras de café y de plátanos; con otro tanto piensa invertir en la compra de plantas nuevas de plátanos morados.
