José Safrão Tsope

José Safrão Tsope was born in the district of Vilanculos (northern Inhambane province). He is 37 years old and married, with three children between the ages of seven and thirteen. He attended school through second grade, when the civil war that ended in 1992 forced him to abandon his studies.
He lives in Boane in his own house with his family and a nephew.
He left Vilanculos with his brother-in-law and went to Maputo to work first in the agricultural fields of Boane and then for 10 years with a manufacturer of ceramics and bricks.
It's been another 10 years since he stopped working there to start a business selling construction materials to the residents of Boane and other clients who are passing through.
He works about 12 hours a day and has one employee. He also sells various kinds of construction tools, and manages to bring in about 4,500 MT. With a portion of that revenue, he is able to cover recurring expenses.
This is his third loan with Hluvuku-Adsema, and he's never had loans from other banks. He's already repaid loans of 15,200 and 16,800 MT, which both went toward strengthening his business. With the current loan of 25,000 MT requested, he plans to beef up his business in order to satisfy the demand for products.
He intends to be responsible with his payments in order to be able to qualify for loans in the future and expand his hardware store.

Jose safrao tsope nasceu no distrito de vilanculos (a norte da província de inhambane), de 37anos de idade, casado e pai de três filhos de idades compreendidas entre sete e 13 anos. Estudou ate 2 classe devido à guerra civil que terminou em 1992.
Vive em boane com sua família mais um sobrinho na casa propria.
Saiu de vilanculos de com o seu cunhado para maputo e começou por trabalhar nas machambas de boane e depois numa empresa cerâmica e de fabrico de tijolos refrato rios durante 10 anos.
Já passam, também, 10 anos que parou de trabalhar para abrasar o negocio de venda de materiais de construção aos moradores de boane e outros clientes em transito.
Trabalha cerca de 12 horas por dia e tem 1 empregado. Vende mais ferros de varias medidas para construção e consegue poupar, mais ou menos, 4.500,00MT. Com outra parte dos rendimentos, custeia despesas correntes.
Este é o seu terceiro empréstimo na Hluvuku-Adsema e nunca teve outros créditos com outros bancos. Já levantou valores de 15.200,00MT e 16.800,00MT, todos aplicados no reforço do negocio, e com o actual credito de 25.000,00MT pretende reforçar o negocio e para poder satisfazer a demanda de produtos.
Propõe se a pagar bem para poder aceder a outros empréstimos para no futuro aumentar a sua ferragem.
