Dolly Yakaar Group

We, the women of the Dolly Yakaar group of the eco-village Thiaroye, work at processing cereals. We have been doing this for a very long time. That is why we have come to Kiva to ask for a loan to bolster our production capability.

With the loan, we will buy bulk quantities of products such as millet, maize, and sorghum so that we don't run out of inventory. Then we will process these cereals to make a finished product called "arraw, thiacri, sankal" that we will give to those members of the group who will sell or distribute it in all possible ways throughout the town.

Nous les Femmes du groupement Dolly Yakaar de l'écovillage de Thiaroye, nous nous activons dans le domaine de la transformation des produits céréaliers. C'est une activité qu'on exerce depuis très longtemps. C'est pourquoi nous venons auprès de Kiva solliciter un prêt pour renforcer notre capacité de rendement. Avec le prêt, nous allons acheter en grande quantité des produits comme du mil, du maïs, du sorgho pour ne pas avoir de rupture de stock. Après, nous allons les transformer pour avoir un produit fini appelé "arraw, thiacri, sankal" que nous allons donner aux autres membres du groupement qui vont faire la vente et la distribution dans tous les artères de la ville.
