Orfita de Jesús Vasquez belongs to the Mujeres Solidarias Community Bank. She lives in the Calleria district. She is 42, has 2 children, and her husband is a driver.

She sells “juanes” (a traditional dish in the Peruvian rainforest). She used her first loan of 300 PEN to buy dozens of eggs, rice, chicken, etc. to prepare the juanes to then sell to her neighbors. She now has a small stand on the pavement outside of her house where she sells eggs, chicken, vegetable stew, etc.

With this loan for 2,000 PEN she will expand her business and buy one more table. With what is left, she will buy supplies to stock her business.

She is grateful to Manuela Ramos for being an institution that serves the community by contributing to the women of this region.

ORFITA DE JESUS VASQUEZ, pertenece al Banco Comunal “MUJERES SOLIDARIAS” en el Distrito de Calleria, tiene 42 años, 2 hijos, y su esposo es chofer.

Ella vendía juanes en su barrio, el primer préstamo que recibió de Manuela Ramos fue de S/.300.00 Nuevos Soles, que invirtió en compra de algunos huevos por docenas, arroz, pollos, etc. para preparar los juanes y luego venderlos a sus vecinos. Ahora tiene un pequeño puesto en la vereda de su casa en donde vende huevos, pollo, menestras, etc.

Con este préstamo de S/.2,000.00 ampliara el negocio comprando una mesa mas y con lo que queda comprara mas víveres para surtir su negocio.

Agradece a Manuela Ramos por ser una institución que sirve a la comunidad con el servicio que da al contribuir con las mujeres de esta región.
