The committee Nueva Esperanza (“A New Hope”) was formed on July 2nd, 2008, and is made up of eighteen women from the city of Itá. This group formed thanks to Mrs. Nancy Sanabria, who talked to a loan officer in the area about starting a group in the Women Entrepreneurs program. She was very enthusiastic and anxious to be able to work with this program, and the group is now in their fourth cycle with the Fundación Paraguaya.

The average credit given to an individual in the committee is 800,000 Paraguayan guarani. The participants use their credit towards their respective activities.
