Nafeesa baji is the wife of Raees ahmad who has lived in Lahore, Pakistan for the last 12 years. Her husband runs a decorative embroidery business. He sells embroidered dresses to the cloth shops and buys from the famous markets of Lahore “Ichra and Shahalmi”. Nafeesa baji herself has a dairy business. She grows the animals (goats) and then sells their milk to the milk shops and earns income. With the income, she renovated her house. She is applying for a loan to buy embroidered dresses to grow her husband’s business.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.




About Group Loans
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a group of individuals bound by a group guarantee.
