Azucena

Azucena (Lily) is a 47 years old mother with a 20 year old son for whom she works hard to offer him what is necessary for his education, despite not having her own house she has the dream of acquiring one soon and to let go of paying rent. Ever since her partner left her, she had the bravery to move forward alone working as a seamstress, a trade she has made for more than 20 years. In the beginning, she worked at home receiving some orders from her neighbors to fix their garments; later, the municipality opened a market in the district where she lived and she knew to take advantage of the opportunity to acquire a place, where she has been working for 10 years. Azucena (Lily) takes care of her clients from 8 in the morning to 10 at night. Now that she is more well-known and has a great amount of clients, she is thinking of extending her place, taking advantage of the availability of what is for sale to her side. This is her 9th loan with Microfinanzas PRISM, responsibility and persistence are qualities that she shares with her companions of the communal bank, with those who have learned to develop themselves in the social and commercial scopes. Azucena tiene 47 años, es madre de un hijo de 20 años por quien se esfuerza para brindarle lo necesario para su educación, a pesar de no tener una casa propia tiene el sueño de adquirir una pronto y dejar de pagar alquileres. Desde que su pareja la abandonó tuvo la valentía de salir adelante sola trabajando como costurera, oficio que viene realizando por más de 20 años. En sus inicios trabajó en su casa recibiendo algunos pedidos de sus vecinos para arreglar sus prendas; posteriormente, la municipalidad abrió un mercado en el distrito donde vivía y supo aprovechar la oportunidad para adquirir un puesto, donde viene trabajando desde hace 10 años. Azucena atiende a sus clientes desde las 8 de la mañana hasta las 10 de la noche, ahora que es más conocida y tiene gran cantidad de clientes está pensando ampliar su puesto aprovechando la disponibilidad de los que tiene al costado y están en venta. Este es su 9no crédito con Microfinanzas PRISMA, la responsabilidad y el empeño son cualidades que comparte con sus compañeras de banco comunal, con quienes ha aprendido a desenvolverse en los ámbitos sociales y comerciales.
