Catalina

Catalina is 50 years old and lives with her husband and the youngest of their children who is 20 years old. She works in agriculture and livestock; mainly selling cereals (grains that she plants) and raising cattle, which are sold at major cattle fairs in her area.

Catalina works with her husband , since it is very important to ensure the development of their products and the growth of their animals. Because the bigger the grains and the fatter the animals, the higher returns they get at the time of selling. In the future, Catalina wants to start a grocery shop at home to have another source of income that allows them to cope with difficult times when prices for agricultural products are not good.

Catalina tiene 50 años, vive con su esposo y el menor de sus hijos que tiene 20 años. Se dedica a las actividades agrícolas y ganaderas, principalmente vende los cereales (granos) que ella misma siembra, además, a la actividad que más tiempo le brinda es a la crianza de ganado vacuno, los cuales vende en las principales ferias ganaderías de su zona. Catalina trabaja junto a su esposo para ambas tareas, pues es muy importante que velen por el desarrollo de sus productos, así como por el crecimiento de sus animales, ya que entre más grandes sus granos y más gordos sus animales, obtendrán mayores ganancias al momento de la comercialización. Para el futuro, Catalina quiere tener una tienda de abarrotes en su casa, así y tener otra fuente de ingresos para afrontar los tiempos difíciles, cuando los precios de los productos agrícolas no les favorezcan.Este es su segundo préstamo con MFP, está comprometida a realizar un trabajo honrado y transparente en la gestión del dinero que solicita, tanto en invertirlo adecuadamente como en la devolución del mismo. En esta oportunidad comprará semillas de cereales y un torete.
